AIDAN MCKEON

Aidan McKeon is a saxophonist, composer/arranger, woodwind specialist, and educator,

who began his playing career at a young age in the Philadelphia area, studying at the historical Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz, before studying in Manhattan at the Juilliard School and with jazz legends such as George Coleman and Kenny Washington. Aidan has performed with Kurt Rosenwinkel, Peter Bernstein, the Roy Hargrove Big Band, the Future of Jazz Orchestra, Ari Hoenig, Joe Farnsworth, and many others and at such venues as the Village Vanguard, the Jazz Gallery, Smalls Jazz Club, Chris' Jazz Cafe, and has internationally led bands at Marians Jazzroom in Bern, Switzerland, and multiple venues in Tokyo, Japan. Along with work as a sideman, Aidan leads a quartet, and a chordless trio which has toured the east and west coasts. Aidan is also an official ambassador of both the Boston Sax Shop and JL Woodwinds.
